NOA Summer Party and End User Experience 2011


The NOA was proud to host its fifth annual Summer Party and Outsourcing End User Experience at Lawrence Graham Offices, London on Thursday 14th July.

Martin Hart, NOA Chairman, opened the event:  “The NOA is the pre-eminent organisation in the UK that enables and promotes successful outsourcing for the benefit of end-users, suppliers and supporting intermediary organisations.

“I feel very honoured to launch our fifth Summer Party and I hope you all leave this event with great memories and some invaluable insights from our fantastic speakers.”

Speakers included representatives from the Land Registry, F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Surrey County Council, The Co-operative Financial Services, HML and NOA Pathway.

The NOA and would like to congratulate the recent NOA Pathway graduates who received their certificates at the event.

NOA board members, end users, suppliers and Pathway graduates were interviewed for a series of podcasts. These outsourcing professionals discussed industry trends, examples of best practice through Pathway and challenges among other topics.

Paul is a partner in the commercial technology department, and head of the outsourcing practice, at Kemp Little, one of the UK’s leading technology-focused law firms.

Mike Ferguson Head of Operational Procurement, Land Registry

Mike Ferguson is Head of Operational Procurement at Land Registry and is based in their Plymouth office. In this role, he manages a team of procurement professionals primarily responsible for IT spend.

Bhupendra Mistry works for Roche Products Ltd, a pharmaceutical based in Welwyn Garden City. Bhupendra has been with the company for 11 years and works within the Statistical Programming & Analysis (SPA) dept.

Richard Woodroffe Business Change Lead – Servicing, The Co-operative Financial Services

Richard joined Co-operative Financial Services in 1993 and has worked in a number of business areas including Customer Services, Debt Management, Fraud and Underwriting, which enabled him to develop a first-hand understanding of customer interaction and key drivers of customer satisfaction.

Anu Biswas - Head of Quality, Risk & Compliance, Pete Proctor - Programme Manager, Ben Chambers - Operations Manager of Mortgage Services, HML

Anu has mortgage and retail savings experience of over 15 years with good knowledge of SBS Group. Pete is a professionally qualified, experienced, pragmatic and commercially aware Programme, Project and People Manager. Ben joined HML in 1998 and manages Account Closures and Payments.

Nick Richmond-Smith Procurement Category Manager - Children and Young People, Surrey County Council

Nick has worked for Surrey County Council in Procurement since 2008. He is an MBA graduate who has strong experience of a range of Public Sector Services.
