Butgets have been squeezed and with the Tories committed to cutting spending, it looks like we can expect further agressive cost cutting next year. It seems the public sector is going to need to turn to outsourcing again to have any chance of substantially reducing overheads. It’s imperative they get it right this time though - the public simply won’t tolerate the public failures of the past.
